THE WAY TO BE SAVED
If you died today, would you go to heaven? If you are not sure, would you do what the Bible asks to gain and secure your place there?
Yes, there is life after death--eternal life--spent in heaven with God, our Maker and heavenly father, or in hell, separated from Him for eternity. If you've never been saved and would like to obtain your salvation, I pray the following helps you decide your future.
WHO IS GOOD?
In your Bible, the book of Romans, Chapter 3, Verse 10 reads, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one."
We think that because we do not steal, murder, swear, etc., that will get us to heaven. None of us are good enough to enter into such a pure and holy place as heaven. Before we are born again, all our good deeds and goodheartedness benefit us nothing towards heaven.
WHO HAS SINNED?
Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
The Bible is clear--everyone is guilty of sin.
WHERE SIN ORIGINATED
Romans 5:12 - "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."
When Adam sinned by his disobedience to God, physical and spiritual death was passed on to us, meaning our bodies die and we lose all rights of entrance into heaven.
THE PRICE OF SIN
Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
There is a price for sin--that price is the loss of our souls to eternal damnation.
OUR WAY OUT
Acts 2:37-38 - 37) "Now when they heard [this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men [and] brethren, what shall we do?"
38) Then Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 4:12 - "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 16:30 - "...And brought them out, and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" Acts 16:31 - "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Romans 5:8 - "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 10:9-11 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, "Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed". Romans 10:13 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Jesus, who is God came to earth in human flesh, was crucified on a cross--a sacrifice for all mankind, to provide our reconciliation to Himself to gain eternal life in heaven with Him.
Jesus died for YOU that you have eternal life in heaven. Accept the truth of His word, and turn your life over to Him NOW. You can then be sure of going to heaven by praying this prayer in faith:
Lord,I am a sinner, please forgive me for all my sins. Jesus, I know you are God's Son and you died for me on the cross and and rose again on the third day. I know that without turning from my ways, I will go to hell; I will miss heaven and the blessing of eternally being with you. I give you my life now, come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Amen.
If you just prayed that prayer and meant it, tell everyone about Jesus, live your life according to His commandments, and you can be assured of eternal life and heaven.
